What stats we going with?
I will suggest:-

Goalkeeper:-

Handling
Reflexes
Arial ability
Positioning
One on ones?
Jumping
Kicking
Throwing

Outfield Players:-

Tackling
Passing
Shooting
Heading
Crossing
Technique
Positioning
Marking

Both:-

Strength
Staminia
Pace
Workrate

Then are you going to go with an overall rating or are you leaving it as just the stats so the manager decides how good a player is, then its down to personal preferance.

Also are you going up to 100 or 20? those two seem to be the main figures.

Hidden:-

Injury proneness
Temperment
Big match ability
Leadership

Nice that you have basic stats are we adding physical stats now?

Also as im on a bit of a roll atm, are you gunna have it so certain stats help the positions?
IE shooting = 20 vs shooting = 1
the 20 will have some advantage over the 1 not loads but is a definate advantage.
like if you was looking at a forward with 20 shooting 20 heading 20 positioning would be more desirable than a forward with 20 tackling passing shooting, as the other stats are more suited to the forward position??

Oh yes, of course! As 'shooting', 'tackling', etc. Every player uses them. I mean a forward will still tackle, not as much but they still do. And shooting could be clearing the ball from a defender. The list goes on...

On the player screen with the stats are we going to have the info side of things as well or will that be a link when you click on the players name.

A - Assists
Ave - Average rating
Nat - Nationality (eventually)

Players will have their own 'Profile' as such. It will display general, important info on the main page. Then Games played etc will go on their profile page, along with links to sell, buy, fire, and so on.

Nationality will probably go on the main page. Not sure yet, what you lot think?

I like the idea of a profile page for each player as its an easy access to all your important infomation.
